Selective Forensic Collection Service

This service is designed to select and match data that is relevant from a larger set of data. This service with prior planning can be combined with the collection and preservation services to select and match data to include during the collection process. This greatly reduces volume of data thus lowering overall costs of eDiscovery or Forensic services. Priced at a flat per GB fee of all data searched with a minimum fee for standard collection and preservation work if select and match method is used to perform collection and preservation.

The following methods to select and match data to include are:

  • Keywords
  • Hash Library
  • Regular Expressions
  • Files Size
  • File Date
  • Extensions
  • Path
  • Optional Meta-Data Forensics Analysis Report
  • Optional “Full Preservation” of all data, including deleted, for protection from spoliation claims

Is this service for you? Answer the following questions to find out:

  1. Can you be sure that your client or custodian(s) are capable, willing, able, or honestly cooperative with the electronic details of the case?
  2. Deleted data will never be an important factor in your case?
  3. Spoliation will never be an issue in your case?
  • TRUE - If you can answer true all of the above questions then this service may be a good solution for you.
  • FALSE - If you answer false to any of the above questions then you should seriously consider a different approach to your collection, preservation, and forensics analysis.
  • *If “Full Preservation” option is chosen then this can provide you protections for all three issues.
